Dear students,
Today you will work a little bit on homework b (two direct quotations, two indirect quotations, two paraphrases, and two summaries). Please note that a summary is much shorter than the original; if it is about the same length as the original, then it is a paraphrase.
You will also take a look at a sample essay from the appendix of the Academic Writing textbook that you should bring to class.
